Online Exhibitions

We have a fine collection of archival material to choose from at the Madras College Archive. In order to set some of it in context covering a range of time we have prepared a selection of material for themed online presentations.

WW1 & WW2 Memorial Plaques

Our first exhibition features the memorial plaques in the South Street Quadrangle.  These commemorate Madras Pupils who lost their lives in two World Wars.

Rugby Diaries

Our second exhibition features the rugby diaries kept between 1951 and 1972 by John Gilchrist and Tom Croll.

Sports Day Programmes

The third exhibition allows you to view sports day programmes from
1968 to 2011.

Literary Works of
Andrew O Lindsay

Andrew Lindsay taught English between 1969 and 2002 and wrote many works, especially for the annual Madras College Burns Suppers.
